The WCA Learning Center is dedicated to helping you develop your senses and broadening your cultural
arts horizons. Currently we have classes in painting, crafts and dance. Check our calendar for schedule
of current classes.

November 27 through December 22 - Holiday Gift Shoppe. Beginning Black Friday, November 27
through December 22. We are looking for vendor participants of visual and folk/fiber art pieces. For
more information, please call WCA at 903 342 0686.
December 4, Friday, 7:00 pm - "Scrooge" back by popular demand. This year directed by John
Milligan (also playing Scrooge) and some former cast members.
December 5, Saturday, 7:00 pm - Lake Country Orchestra Holiday Presentation
December 6, Sunday, 2:00 pm - "Scrooge" back by popular demand. This year directed by John
Milligan (also playing Scrooge) and some former cast members.
December 6, Sunday, 7:00 pm - "It's Beginning to Sound a Lot Like Christmas" with True Blue and
Friends - Featuring: George Gagliardi, Shannon Monk, Rick Murray and Ben Scarborough.
December 11 & 12, Friday & Saturday at 7:00 pm - "Scrooge" back by popular demand. This year
directed by John Milligan (also playing Scrooge) and some former cast members.

Activities -
Guitar Lessons with Fred Howard - Wednesday Afternoons - $20 for 30 minute lesson. Call the Arts
Center for more information. Fred has over 30 years experience as a musician and is currently in the
classic rock band, “Slightly Tilted”. His students range in age from elementary to the “young at heart!”
Visual Art Lessons with Grahame Hopkins - Grahame Hopkins offers group and individual lessons at
WCA. Pastels, water color, oil and acrylic classes are available. Call the Arts Centers for more details.
Winnsboro Community Theatre for Professionals and Wannabees - Actors, writers, directors,
producers, costumers, stage set designers & construction, lighting, sound, music, stage hands, etc.
with or without training or experience. Auditions for upcoming production to be announced. Monthly
meeting will resume after the holidays.
